Portfolio Reviews

At the Project Review Meeting of 15 October, Project Leaders presented the status and plans for the coming period. PhD students and Post Docs have been, or are being, recruited. Projects are up-and-running, each engaging several partners, and with plans for the coming period.
On the 15 October there was an in-person meeting involving the Project Leaders of the NEXT Projects and the Centre's Management Team (some of whom are also Project Leaders).
The purpose of this in-person meeting was:
- To review the status of the project portfolio
- To assess the needs that the projects have for support from the work packages on Education & Training, Software and Hardware, or how projects can contribute to these work packages
Each project leader made a presentation
- About the project
- The project’s overall work plan
- Status of project start up .e.g manning, engagement by partners etc. – and, action plan for the coming period
- The project’s needs/contributions concerning the Centre’s workpackages on education & training, Software and Hardware
All projects were up-and-running, and had clear action plans for coming period. A few minor corrective actions were suggested and discussed.
The WP leaders for Education & training, Software and Hardware captured the needs raised by the project leaders.
Some synergies between projects were also identified and joint actions planned.
The meeting also agreed about various processes and how to use the Teams channel for sharing information with all partners.
People were pleased that the research and innovation journey for the NEXT Competence Centre was clearly underway.
